摘要: Twenty-four children with spastic equinovarus deformity due to cerebral palsy were treated by anterior transfer of the posterior tibial tendon and Achilles lengthening. In five patients, operation was performed on both sides, making a total 29 feet available for evaluation after an average follow-up years. Only 38 per cent results graded "good" or "satisfactory." Sixty-two rated as "poor" because valgus, calcaneus equinus severe enough require re-operation. The post-operative generally evident one more years surgery, often progressive, disabling well difficult correct than original condition. Although percentage acceptable considerably higher hemiplegic patients others in study, we conclude that this group all other categories should not be performed.
