摘要: 1. In neutral environmental temperatures, shivering was induced in sheep by intra-ruminal cooling. Shivering then depressed for a period intra-abdominal heating. Intra-abdominal heating without ruminal cooling panting and reduction of caval temperatures. Posterior temperatures were found to be inappropriate the responses observed. 2. cold warm environments augmented respectively. Unilateral splanchnotomy abolished these on ipsilateral side. 3. The results are interpreted indicate that thermoreceptors stimulated lie within walls rumen intestine, possibly mesenteric veins. 4. splanchnic nerves indicated as afferent pathway receptors, differential innervation gut is suggested explain unilateral abolition response warming.
