摘要: Abstract The distribution of butyltins was investigated in seawater at 20 stations ( n =69) along the tanker route Strait Malacca and Tokyo Bay, areas potential release toxic organotin compounds to aquatic environment from large vessels coated with antifouling paints containing tributyltin (TBT) compounds. Relatively high concentrations were observed enough cause deleterious effects on organisms, such as imposex gastropods. ratio TBT/dibutyltin (DBT) suggests that recent inputs TBT have occurred there. Lower ratios Bay. present study suggested is major source seawater.
