摘要: The objective of this study was to investigate experimentally solitary waves run-up on sloping beaches. Conducted in the Super wave flume(5m×5.2m×300m) and Large flume(2m×2m×200m)at Tainan Hydraulics Laboratory (THL), were generated by moving board forward manner ramp-trajectory solitary-wave-trajectory separately simulate various height observe their process. Experimental results show that gentler slope is, smaller bring about same tsunami. Compared relative research, simulation tsunami which is driving waveboard one way linearly a 1/20 beach possess higher than Synolakis(1987) proposed waves. This inference quite different from Synolakis(1988) asserted are limiting simulating run-up.
