摘要: This chapter reviews relevant issues in conducting fitness for duty evaluations. The perspectives of treating clinicians as well independent forensic evaluators are both considered. Treating should consider whether they have the requisite experience and training to perform evaluation; referral an evaluator is often necessary these After obtaining history one or more clinical interviews, mental health focus upon specific functional deficits regarding evaluee’s work. Evaluators be familiar with professional ethics principles pertinent evaluations, including informed consent, confidentiality, honesty, objectivity, respect persons, professionalism.
