摘要: The Norwegian transportation authorities have the ambitious goal of improving cycle infrastructure in order to increase share commuters. This project was undertaken find design solutions for facilities that terminate at intersections. Two sites with existing but discontinuous Trondheim, Norway were used as a case study – roundabout and signalized regular intersection. An extensive literature review best practices from around world carried out provide different solutions. Video recordings on-site observations gather data which afterwards analyzed get better understanding behavior interactions traffic users Based on results analysis, two suggested being appropriate roundabout: Raised crossing approaches Separate paths inside roundabout. proposed implementations intersections were: Cycle lanes through intersection, Advanced Stop lines sidewalk. Although above based international specifics studied sites, their expected positive effects cannot be guaranteed. That is why before-and-after highly recommended actual implementation.
