摘要: Abstract The operating temperature of a solar photovoltaic (PV) cell, strongly affected by ambient conditions, is one the key factors influencing cell's conversion efficiency. In modelling PV performance, choice thermal model therefore critical with potential impact on simulation results. Most traditional main market areas systems are located in regions temperate climate. Consequently, performance tools have also been designed and validated mainly based measurements made those regions. However, capacity building locations characteristically different conditions calls for re-calibration such tools. present contribution aims to offer better suited local effective deployment hot desert this analysis, some widely-used cell assessed through cross-validation weather, power output module data collected from test field installed Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. resulting providing best fit observations gives an RMSE 4.8% practically negligible bias. While most models perform well clear days, every found give poor predictions cloudy days. Finally, need more extensive analysis addressing weather types materials identified.
