摘要: The colloidal stability of carbon nanotube (CNT) in water is an important property for several applications. Three different functionalization approaches defined as nondestructive techniques have been carried out to modify the CNT surface and product compared. First, admicellar polymerization used form a water-soluble polymer on with two polymers, polyacrylic acid polyvinyl acetate (PVAc). Second, coatings soluble biopolymers are applied using dextran chitosan. Third, mild oxidation conditions from literature employed hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) potassium permanganate (KMnO4) oxidizing agents. modified examined by sedimentation turbidity measurements along laser particle size analysis. Thermogravimetric Analysis, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, scanning electron microscope, transmission microscopy confirm that modification successfully implemented each technique. Lastly, FT-Raman assess damage structure after modification. A focus quantitative analysis numerical integration variability evaluate stability. All samples clearly yield improved aqueous dispersions. For three approaches, better option KMnO4 oxidation, PVAc polymerization, chitosan biopolymer deposition.
