摘要: Spatiotemporal characteristics of the ozone quasi- biennial oscillation (QBO) over tropical-subtropical stratosphere (40 S-40 N) have been examined by analyz- ing data from Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) aboard Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite (UARS) for pe- riod 1992-1999. A combination regression analysis and wavelet combines to act as an accurate QBO filter. Wavelet provides inter-annual variability ampli- tude phase in vertical structure stratosphere. It gives minute details propagation descend rates, which can be used input models. Latitude-height shows evidence a secondary meridional circulation induced double peak at equator with maximum two pressure levels 30 hPa 9 node 14 hPa. The equatorial maxima are out each other. amplitude ( 1.4 ppmv) was observed near 10 Descent rate easterly is greater than westerly. lag corre- lation variation de- scent rates ex- amined detail. In upper anomalies descent 1.5 km/month but tropics subtropics (above 2 hPa) they propagate upward.
