摘要: L. sericata, cuprina, Ch. rufifacies, C. stygia and augur have been bred through many generations in captivity. These flies were artificial light as well sunlight. Inbreeding had no effect upon activity, fecundity or length of life.A diet protein is necessary for the maturation ova but not spermatozoa.Oviposition strictly associated with a suitable larval environment, more nature response to tactile stimulus. Copulation appears provide an essential stimulus oviposition. No evidence parthenogenesis has obtained unfertilised females did lay eggs. The maximum oviposition observed was 3,171 by hybrid Lucilia. This fly lived 94 days.A total 2,373 sericata. Both parent 77 days. The number can produce at one time dependent on its size thus amount food stage. The sex-ratio Lucilia very close 1 : 1. Starvation period marked sex-ratio.It possible cross two closely related species Lucilia, cuprina characters appear be dominant. It unlikely that this occurs field.
