摘要: Summary Forest succession following Ianilsliiles is described from an altitude of about 1,000 ft on a steep northerly slope above Lake Thomson, west Te Anau, in Fiordland. Two distinct serai patterns are six adjacent stands, ranging age 15 years to mature forest. On the denuded slip-faces relatively drought tolerant Leptospermum scoparium principal seral species. detritus debris-fans, almost pure stands Aristotelia serrata, followed by Fuchsia excorticata and possibly Hoberia glabrata, intervene before return climax forest dominated Nothofagus menziesii. For each structure composition vegetation brief description soil presented.
