摘要: Abstract We examined the Achilles' tendon thickness in familial hypercholesterolemia, with and without xanthoma, compared it that normal subjects secondary hypercholesterolemia (hypothyroidism nephrotic syndrome). The was 6.3 ± 0.2 mm (mean SEM). significantly correlated age corresponding equation was: Y (Achilles' mm) = 0.044 X (age years) + 3.77 ( r 0.543, P 0.016 (serum cholesterol mg/ 100 ml) 2.94 0.454, 0.171, n.s.). 6.8 0.3 patients hypothyroidism 6.6 syndrome. These values were same as those subjects. Achilles'tendon hypercholesterolemic (11.8 1.0 greater than 0.720, 0.160 6.13. Thus, measurement of makes possible to discriminate from whose family histories are incomplete.
