摘要: Avian eggshell quality is an important trait for commercial egg production, as the primary packaging material and antimicrobial barrier internal food resource. Strong eggshells are essential to ensure that eggs can reach their final destination without damage. Ovocalyxin-32 (OCX32) a matrix protein found within outer layers of in cuticle. Numerous reports literature have identified association between variants gene encoding this protein, OCX32, various traits. Thus, OCX32 candidate selection traits poultry populations. Sequencing exons 2-6 eight elite brown white egg-laying lines revealed 28 SNPs one SNP/indel. Eighteen these were predicted alter amino acid sequence protein. Clusters complete linkage disequilibrium both 2 6. A total 19 different versions or protein-sequence haplotypes inferred, revealing considerable variation lines. Genotypes 13 determined 330-1819 individuals per line. Trait studies significant effect on shell color line-specific effects albumen height, early weight, puncture score, yolk weight. Three showed change frequency over time, indicating pressure certain during breeding program.
