摘要: Abstract As part of the Southern Oxidant Study, The Tennessee Valley Authority's instrumented helicopter made a series air sampling flights over city Atlanta. were during summer 1992 to investigate evolution urban O3 plume. Air samples taken morning and afternoon hours; data used estimate background production efficiency, i.e. number molecules produced per molecule NOy emitted. Detailed on available for five flights. Within radius sampled, three zones identified: source zone where levels comparable with levels, 03 increased rapidly within short distance, dilution both its precursors diluted, at same rate. peak or transition from net occurred 20–40 km center. efficiency was between 4 10, in good agreement previous surface measurements.
