摘要: Infections associated with the use of intraocular, periocular, or orbital implants are an increase in both morbidity and costs ophthalmological surgery. This is due to increased number visits need for additional treatments, at a time when some conventional therapies losing their efficacy, even hospitalization. To avoid such consequences, first step should be prevent biomaterials that form from being colonized by various microorganisms, either intraoperatively postoperatively. this end, several lines research have emerged aim equipping antimicrobial properties, which described review.
