摘要: Abstract Thermolysis of the 2,5-bis(trimethylsiloxy)tricyclo|4.4.0.02,5| decan-7-ones 3 leads to perhydroazulenes by a transannular reaction involving an oxygen migration silyl group in intermediate cyclodecadienones. This 3-step transformation 2-cyclohexenone into perhydroazulene is illustrated synthesis carotane (+)-daucene ( 5 ).
