摘要: We identify the phase-space structures that regulate atomic double ionization in strong ultrashort laser pulses. The emerging dynamical picture complements recollision scenario by clarifying distinct roles played recolliding and core electrons, leads to verifiable predictions on characteristic features of "knee", a hallmark nonsequential process.
