摘要: Promoters play important roles in gene expression and function. There are three basic types of promoters: constitutive, specific, inducible. Constitutive promoters widely used genetic engineering, but these have limitations. Inducible activated by specific inducers. Tissue-specific a type that drive tissues or organs. Here, we cloned characterized the GmPRP2 promoter from soybean. The pattern indicated this is root-preferential transgenic Arabidopsis hairy roots It can be to improve root resistance tolerance pathogens, pests, malnutrition other abiotic stresses which cause extensive annual losses soybean production. (GmPRP2p-1062) was isolated cv. Williams 82. Sequence analysis revealed contains many cis-acting elements, including root-specific motifs. GmPRP2p-1062 its 5’-deletion fragments were fused with GUS reporter introduced into further determine activity. Histochemical showed activity mainly detected hypocotyls all deletion except GmPRP2p-471 (a fragment 471 bp length). higher GmPRP2p-852 852 length) constructs than two constructs. enhanced NaCl, PEG, IAA JM treatments decreased SA, ABA GA Arabidopsis. promoter, core for might lie between −369 +1. may useful engineering novel cultivars future.
