摘要: Abstract It is suggested that a primary biological function of mucus to protect cell membranes from hydrostatic, osmotic, and concentration gradients. The consequences predicted for an impairment this fit in with the known characteristics cystic fibrosis (C.F.). C.F. hyperpermeable serum can induce hyperpermeability. most definitive abnormality mucoprotein its electrophoretic mobility; wholly dependent upon calcium content mucus. Calcium was found increase permeability vitro vivo raise salt sweat.
