摘要: Here we study 109 Iberian roe deer individuals corresponding to 9 Spanish populations. Individuals were sampled at locations that are expected have acted as refugia for the species during 20th century. Samples analyzed a 436 bp mtDNA fragment from HVI region of mitochondrial DNA and 10 microsatellites. The sequences gave 31 different haplotypes enabled identification new haplogroup (mainly present in Northwestern populations representing roughly third our samples) is not other European Using microsatellites, correspondence analysis molecular coancestry information revealed high differentiation among Central-Southern Spain Both sequence microsatellite reveal genetically heterogeneous genetic structure clearly separating Pyrenean-reintroduced two main areas (Northwestern Central-Southern) coinciding with acting majority mammal glaciations. implications obtained regards phylogeography discussed together suggestions appropriate strategies conservation management
