摘要: Abstract Objectives To evaluate the impact of an infection control educational programme in anaesthetic practice on clinical performance personnel working field and work place bacterial contamination. Methods This study was conducting 35 involved 500 operations over two half months. Their compliance towards handling equipments, wearing protective tools hand hygiene evaluated using a 13 items check list pre post delivering (intervention). Of 300 were randomly selected for evaluation Two swabs taken from before induction general anaesthesia (T0) 30 min intraoperative (T1) intervention. Another swab taking anaesthetists’ hands 15 min after (T2). Results The intervention influenced positively attitude junior anaesthetists nurses regarding proper use tools, equipments hygiene. Senior anaesthestists’ with hygiene, frequency gloves filter did not change But their laryngoscope, face mask catheter suction improved adherence housekeepers to equipments’ disinfection significantly Ninety-two (63%) positive bacteria at T0 They reduced 9 (6.3%) number T1 121 (82.9%) intervention, 68 (47.2%) One hundred eight (74%) lowered 55 (38.2%) Bacterial cross between machine existed In conclusion, enhanced contamination place.
