摘要: Velvet bean (Mucuna pruriens) seeds contain the catecholic amino acid L-DoPA (L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine), which is a neurotransmitter precursor and used for treatment of Parkinson's disease mental disorders. The great demand largely met by pharmaceutical industry through extraction compound from wild populations this plant; commercial exploitation hampered because its limited availability. trichomes present on pods can cause severe itching, blisters dermatitis, discouraging cultivation. We screened genetic stocks velvet trichome-less trait, along with high seed yield content. highest yielding elite strain was selected indentified basis PCR-based DNA fingerprinting method (RAPD), using deca-nucleotide primers. A similarity index matrix obtained multivariant analysis Nei Li's coefficient. coefficients were to generate tree cluster UPGMA method. Analysis amplification spectra 408 bands 56 primers allowed us distinguish M. pruriens.
