摘要: Abstract Background We investigated the association between urinary sodium/creatinine ratio (U[Na + ]/Cr) or sodium/specific gravity unit ]/SGU), estimated from spot urine, and blood pressure (BP) hypertension. Methods The study population consisted of a total 9674 adults (4478 men, 5196 women) who participated in Korea National Health Nutrition Examination Surveys conducted 2009 2010. Urine levels sodium creatinine, urine specific (SG), BP were measured along with other risk factors SGU is calculated parameter (SG − 1) × 100. Results There significant trends increasing mean systolic diastolic BPs prevalence hypertension quartile U[Na ]/Cr ]/SGU. After adjusting for age, cholesterol, alcohol drinking, obesity, current smoking, mild renal dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, odds ratios (ORs) top compared bottom 1.40 men 2.68 women. Similarly, ORs ]/SGU 1.29 3.02 women after adjustment. Conclusions are associated hypertension, supporting possible clinical value general medical facilities.
