摘要: A simple and clinically practical five-factor cephalometric summary analysis is described that based on the true horizontal natural head posture. Special reference made to AB/horizontal angle as an improved method for assessment of sagittal skeletal pattern. Class I clinical normal range 12 degrees 18 was established. In comparison analyses conventional intracranial planes, new methods are more valid in two important respects: (1) plane displays less variance when observed posture; (2) better describe dentoskeletal profile features they appear life. Hence, meaningful. Data from a large population study were used selectively illustrate benefits methods. Previous Chinese male had shown average pattern be II, with retrognathic mandible, compared Caucasian male. However, posture using horizontal, life has been III. Analysis individual subjects produced differing interpretations craniofacial form, depending upon whether planes or horizontal. It concluded may result significant errors analysis, diagnosis, treatment. The produce supplementary data.
