摘要: A small volume (65 cm3) gold-plated quasi-spherical microwave resonator has been used to measure the water vapor mole fraction x w of H2O/N2 and H2O/air mixtures. This experimental technique exploits high precision achievable in determination cavity resonance frequencies is particularly sensitive presence concentrations as a result polarizability this substance. The mixtures were prepared using INRIM standard humidity generator for frost-point temperatures T fp range between 241 K 270 K commercial two-pressure operated at dew-point temperature 272 K 291 K. measurements compare favorably with calculated molar fractions mixture supplied by generators, showing normalized error lower than 0.8.
