摘要: The effects of GH on various types behaviour in fish are well documented although the underlying mechanisms not fully understood. In rainbow trout, an involvement brain dopaminergic system mediating behavioural has been indicated, as can alter activity. To further examine role mediation locomotion and foraging, GH- sham-implanted juvenile trout were injected with selective D1 dopamine antagonist SCH23390 or vehicle. Swimming feeding activity was then studied by direct observation. Brains thereafter sampled analysed for content serotonin, their metabolites hypothalamus, optic tectum, cerebellum, telencephalon, stem. increased swimming feed intake, which abolished SCH23390. By itself, did affect behaviour, nor it monoamines. contrast, treatment GH, without SCH23390, decreased metabolite homovanillic acid (HVA) tectum serotonin (5-HT) tectum. It is concluded that receptor appears to be importance behaviour.
