摘要: Hydrothermal alteration zones have significant role in prospecting of porphyry mineral deposits. In this research, Image processing techniques were applied on the digital subset ETM + data covered Siah-Jangal area. These generated several products enhanced satellite imagery, such as colour composite images, ratio images and principal component analysis images. been successfully used mapping hydrothermal mineralization study The band methods show very clearly altered clay minerals iron oxides around using Crosta technique also enabled us to represent undoubtedly hydroxyl iron-oxide well. method has selected 6 (standard PCA), 4 3 bands. There is no difference Band PC methods. But best results, terms distribution oxide alteration, obtained results indicate that promising for identifying can assist exploration geologists find new prospects copper gold deposits other virgin regions before costly detailed ground investigations.
