摘要: Abstract A numerical study has been carried out to analyze the effects of mixed convective assisting flow past three-dimensional open cavity over a wide range Reynolds (100–1000) and Richardson (0.001–10) numbers. The vertical walls in inflow outflow sides are isothermal while all other adiabatic. is assumed be cubic geometry laminar. direct simulation undertaken investigate structure, heat transfer characteristics complex interaction between induced stream at ambient temperature buoyancy-induced from heated wall. It found that becomes stable moderate Grashof number exhibits for high convection come into play push recirculating zone further upstream may unstable.
