摘要: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) stimulated with pokeweed mitogen (PWM) produced increased IgG when cultured interleukin-6 (IL-6). subclass analysis showed that the presence of IL-6 during last half culture period enhanced IgG1 and IgG4 production. Enhancement IgG2 synthesis required solely period, whereas enhancement paradoxically was blocked by its first half. The IgG3-enhancing effect observed only present throughout period. critical role supported inhibition anti-IL-6 antibody. PBMC depleted bearing surface a particular did not synthesize subclass. This non-responsiveness, which reversed even an addition IL-6, indicates main action is on differentiation committed B cells. In addition, triggered T to produce significant helper activity. These results indicate enhances production differentially in part mediated cells, as well direct findings should be useful for analysing such immune disorders deficiencies autoimmune diseases.
