摘要: Steady-state rates of turnover two single proteins were measured in vivo by independent methods. The fractional rate synthesis liver ornithine aminotransferase, a continuous infusion L-[2,6-3H]tyrosine, was 0.42 day-1, whereas the same animals degradation loss radioactivity from amino acids labelled via [14C]bicarbonate 0.40 day-1. agreement between methods confirms reliability each method for study hepatic protein turnover. In contrast, [14C]bicarbonate-labelled are extensively reutilized muscle, and therefore unsuitable measuring muscle breakdown.
