摘要: Abstract A total of 20 macroscopically normal or hypertropic prostates were taken from cadavers men older than fifty, who died causes other urologic ones. The samples studied in vitro by nonscreen x-ray films, ultrasonography, computed tomography, and then a pathologist. There 4 prostates, 12 with benign prostatic hypertrophy, 3 carcinoma, 1 prostatitis. Conventional radiography which showed only calcifications was no pathologic interest. Computed tomography is means diagnostic use distinguishing between hypertrophy should be used as an alternative the evaluation regional extension carcinoma. On hand, ultrasonography appears to sensitive detection very small unpalpable nodules. However, its specificity poor restricted guide obtaining biopsy specimens evaluating tumor volume.
