摘要: A series of new Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes Schiff base derived from coumarin have been prepared characterized by analytical spectral methods. The is synthesized the condensation 2,6-diaminopyridine 3-acetylcoumarin in 1 : stoichiometric ratio. All metal ligand ratio except nickel complex, where it was found to be 2. UV-Vis spectra magnetic moment studies confirm existence tetrahedral octahedral geometries around cobalt(II) nickel(II) ions, respectively, but copper(II) chloride/nitrate/sulfate square-planar geometry acetate complex distorted octahedral. ESR copper at room temperature liquid nitrogen were tetragonal. more active against bacteria Ni(II) complex; only CuLSO4 CuL(CH3COO)2 shown enhanced activity fungi.
