摘要: We report on the discovery of variable circular polarization in SW Sextantis star LS Pegasi. The observed modulation has an amplitude ≈0.3% and a period 29.6 minutes, which we assume as spin magnetic white dwarf. also detected periodic flaring blue wing Hβ, with 33.5 minutes. difference between both frequencies is just orbital frequency, so relate minute to beat period. propose new accretion scenario Sex stars, based shock disk-overflown gas stream against dwarf's magnetosphere, extends corotation radius. From this geometry, estimate field strength B1 ~ 5-15 MG. Our results indicate that plays important role suggest these systems are probably intermediate polars highest mass rates.
