摘要: Clay-based nanocomposite polymers have been synthesized by photoinitiated crosslinking polymerization of acrylate and epoxy functionalized oligomers. The solvent-free resin containing a small amount (3 wt%) organophilic clay was cured within seconds upon UV irradiation at ambient temperature. reaction followed infrared spectroscopy shown to proceed great extent in thick samples (2 mm), due the higher exotherm resulting rise organoclay no slowing down effect on photopolymerization both resins. addition nanoparticles found reduce gloss UV-cured coatings an enhanced surface roughness. viscoelastic tensile properties photopolymer were comparable those neat polymer, while their resistance moisture significantly increased.
