The enormous increase tobacco consumption Asia portends a rise disease those affected countries. cancer will be global problem for many years to come. As well as geographic shift incidence, striking demographic change, at least “Western” populations, has been decline males, yet women. This almost certainly due gender differences smoking habits previous decades. In addition there reported different cell types. Western populations squamous possibly small (SCLC) have declined, while adenocarcinoma risen frequency. While classification bias may account proportion these shifts attributed changes habits, cigarettes themselves and, given their apparent greater propensity develop adenocarcinoma, number women who smoke.
