摘要: Abstract Unipolar and bipolar diffusion charging of monodisperse aerosol particles 4–100 nm in diameter has been studied experimentally theoretically. Particles are charged by unipolar or ions produced α rays from Am-241. They enlarged condensation DBP vapor on them using the particle size magnifier admitted into an observation cell having parallel d.c. electrodes to distinguish uncharged TV camera. In case charging, ratios total at various values ion concentration time found quite good agreement with solution equations based Fuchs' formula for combination probability introducing properties reported previous papers. From these results, necessary conditions bring a desired charge distribution clarified sizes. number steady-state again basic similar those theory same as used charging.
