摘要: This paper proposes a novel overlay architecture to improve availability and performance of end-to-end communication over the Internet. Connectivity network are becoming business-critical resources as Internet is increasingly utilized business necessity. For example, traditional voice military systems turning into IP-based applications. With these applications, even short-lived failures infrastructure can generate significant losses. To satisfy needs, concept networks has been widely discussed. However, in previous studies networks, measurable number path outages were still unavoidable with use such networks. We believe that an network's ability quickly recover from congestion limited unless we ensure independence at IP layer. Hence, develop simple but effective increasing without degrading performance. The proposed enhances prior following ways: (1) deploy nodes considering topology latency information inside ISP also across boundaries; (2) source-based single-hop routing combined above topology-aware node deployment; (3) increase usage multi-homing environment endhosts. In this framework, measurement-based heuristics using extensive data collection 232 points 10 ISPs, 100 PlanetLab nodes. validate framework real show our able provide amount resilience real-world failures.
