ADDITIONAL MIDDLE CAMBRIAN TRILOBITES FROM THE WHEELER SHALE OF UTAH

摘要: Know biotic diversity of the Wheeler Shale (late Middle Cambrian) in House Range western Utah has been increased significantly as result recent discoveries. Twenty-nine presently known species are listed. Six previously unreported nonagnostid trilo- bites described and illustrated. Descriptions include new family Annamitiidae, genus Jenkinsonia, Alokistocare harrisi, Brachyaspidion microps, Jenkinsonia varga. Other trilobites unrecorded from Bathyuriscus fimbriatus Robison, Bolaspidella wellsvillensis (Lochman Duncan), Modocia laevinucha Robison. Additional topotype specimens Olenoides nevadensis (Meek), type Olenoides, provide information about morphology that species.
