摘要: Elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension (ISH)—systolic blood pressure (SBP) ⩾140 mmHg and diastolic (DBP) <90 mmHg—have increased mortality morbidity. The aim was to study the incidence of ISH in a younger population between 15 60 years age, measure pulse (PP), mean arterial (MAP) heart rate (HR) these subjects. consisted 27 783 subjects, aged 15–60 years, untreated for (HT) from cohort employees formed HT French working (AIHFP). BP HR were measured validated, automatic device after 5, 6 7 min at rest. prevalence 6.9% men, 2.3% women. This over 5% young men 40–44 years; it negligible women, but 50–54 about 10% (ie same level as age): PP subjects (46.9 mmHg) significantly higher than normotensive group (NT—40.9 mmHg); comparable both (65.5 mmHg) older (66 mmHg); (63.1 mmHg) women (61.5 mmHg). NT (≈5 bpm) whom decreased age. is not (30% 25% women), high elevated PP, MAP values. These data should be taken into account ISH, are considered cardio-vascular risk factors.
