摘要: Abstract In this work, we report synthesis of a magnetic nanocomposite (NC) employing sol–gel method for efficient removal Cr (VI) from water. Magnetic properties magnesium ferrite nanoparticles (MFNPs) are combined with the adsorption features activated charcoal in NC. It was characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning equipped Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM–EDX), diffraction (XRD), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR). Presence amorphous carbon resulted XRD peak broadening. Particle size TEM studies found to be 15 25 nm VSM analysis showed saturation magnetization 1.37 13.22 emu/g NC MFNPs respectively. The capacity tested using batch mode. Optimum pH 2. displayed better as compared MFNPs. could regenerated 0.9 N NaOH. is blend adsorptive reductive along NPs.
