摘要: In our previous study, three types of modified PVDF membranes, PVDF-g-PHEMA, PVDF-g-PNIPAAm, and PVDF-g-P(HEMA-co-NIPAAm), were successfully prepared by grafting the functional polymers PHEMA PNIPAAm. this bacterial adhesion tests on original membranes performed using two model microbial species, i.e. Gram-negative Escherichia coli Gram-positive Staphylococcus epidermidis, to investigate effect species membrane properties formation structure biofouling. The results indicated that less biofouling was found as compared in both mono-species mixed-species tests; finding confirmed hydrophilicity significantly affected such antifouling remarkably enhanced after hydrophilic them. Less observed with scattered spots for mono-species, whereas a thin layer mixed-species; however, heavy covered thick cake mixed-species. This demonstrated biofilms since influenced behavior each other based their type characteristics; moreover, also displayed an essential structure. novelty study is follows: it demonstrates play role well how influence different membranes; can provide useful insight indications effectively control inhibit future.
