Pressure broadening coefficients of ν5 fundamental band lines of CH3I at 7 μm measured by diode laser absorption spectroscopy

摘要: Abstract We have measured the room temperature pressure broadening coefficients, γ , of over 100 lines in five Q-branches ν 5 perpendicular band methyl iodide ( 12 CH 3 I) using tuneable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. The profiles individual P Q 2 4 6 and R branches were recorded a 1 m long White cell at nitrogen or oxygen pressures up to 15 Torr. fitted Voigt profile obtain collision broadened line widths. Within coefficients decreased monotonically with increasing J for varied between 0.19 cm −1  atm low 0.12 cm high . corresponding approximately 20% smaller. Self also several found be ∼4 times higher than values.
