Exploring the population-environment nexus: Understanding climate change, environmental degradation and migration in Bangladesh

摘要: As one of the most densely populated countries in world, Bangladesh is expected to face multiple stresses from various environmental disturbances, particularly those which can be both directly and indirectly attributed changes local regional climatic conditions. This paper begins by exploring link between climate change population displacement. It then examines impacts currently being experienced resulting present future social, economic vulnerabilities. followed a review region's past trends movement as result degradation disturbances. In doing so, it identifies number ‘hot spots’ around country where impact likely lead The findings are contribute knowledge towards improved sub-regional cooperation guide policymaking for enhanced institutional sustainability.
