摘要: The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) has been active in the field of IntellectualProperty since 1997, amongst others, through its Programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) SustainableDevelopment. One central objective to facilitate emergence a critical mass wellinformed stakeholders developing countries including decision makers, negotiators as also private sector andcivil society who will be able define their own sustainable human development objectives IPRs andeffectively advance them at national international levels.The generated an Issue Paper Series with intention ofoffering clear, jargon-free synthesis main issues help policy public indeveloping developed understand varying perspectives surrounding different IPRs, known orpossible impact livelihoods development, positions over TRIPS Agreementand other relevant intellectual property arrangements.
