摘要: Transparent titanium oxide coatings produced by the sol-gel dipping technique exhibited pronounced electrochromic properties. The reproducibility of coloration cycles in TiO2 films was investigated as a function time. A saturation-like behaviour colour centres charge injection form Li+ ions found. X-ray analysis revealed that changed to LixTiO2 during electrical process. 1 M LiClO4-propylene carbonate used Li+-supplying electrolyte. crystal structure coloured back initial state when were bleached, even though large quantity lithium atoms still remained inside bleached films. We propose fraction cations will bind optically inactive sites, possibly grain boundaries film, bleaching process, and not contribute coloration. Scanning electron microscopy diffractometry, ellipsometry, UV-visible-near-NIR spectroscopy photoelectron for characterization. stability under zero applied field good as-deposited films; contrast, crystalline easily same conditions. Sol-gel exhibit electrochromism indicate layers could soon be very promising applications.
