摘要: To examine which growth factors correlate with neovascularization in human brain tumors, the mRNA levels of transforming factor α, factor, β, basic fibroblast and vascular endothelial (VEGF) genes were determined by a Northern blot analysis surgically obtained gliomas meninglomas. The development was counting number microvessels immunostained von Willebrand factor. We normalized versus glyceraldehyde phosphate dehydrogenase level. In 17 16 meningiomas examined, α VEGF expressed at various levels. Among those 4 factors, VEGF, but not β correlated significantly vascularity both (correlation coefficient r = 0.499; P < 0.05) 0.779; 0.001). These findings thus suggest that may be positive tumor angiogenesis meningiomas.
