摘要: Genetic differentiation among shiny cowbird (Molothrus bonariensis) females that use different hosts indicates in this brood parasite, host is not random at an individual level. We tested whether there exist differences morphology and coloration between eggs of cowbirds laid the nests two hosts, chalk-browed mockingbird (Mimus saturninus) house wren (Troglodytes aedon). took morphometric measures found mockingbirds wrens analysed their using digital photography reflectance spectrometry. were wider more asymmetric than those nests.
