摘要: This paper is concerned with a novel class of oxygenators which Li and Asher first proposed called “liquid membrane oxygenators.” They are different from usual bubble blood in that oxygen bubbles individually encapsulated by liquid fluorocarbon dispersed blood, instead bare normally used. The membrane's role to prevent direct contact gas can cause rupture red cells denaturation proteins blood. We have attempted produce use fine double-tube nozzle where supplied through the inner tube while annular space between outer tubes. device has been found enable steady formation, both pure water an queous solution bovine serum albumin, about 2 mm diameter, far smaller than those produced Asher's original device. A comparative study oxygenation (a substitute for blood) nonencapsulated indicates former only slightly inferior latter.
