摘要: Signal transducers and activators of transcription (STAT) proteins regulate many aspects cellular physiology from growth differentiations to immune responses. Using immunohistochemistry, we show the daily rhythm STAT3 protein in rat suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), with low but significant amplitude peaking morning. We also reveal strong expression STAT5A astrocytes SCN STAT5B signal nonastrocytic cells. Administration lipopolysaccharide (LPS) acutely induced phosphorylation on Tyr705 during both day night Ser727 only after daytime application. The LPS-induced phospho-STAT3 (Tyr705) remained elevated for 24 hr application declined within 8 when LPS was applied at night.
