摘要: Abstract The semi-circular bending (SCB) test has gained popularity for cracking evaluation of asphalt concrete due to its simplicity in the setup and sample preparation. current standards SCB test, such as EN 12697-44:2010, AASHTO TP 105-13, ASTM D8044-16, ASSHTO 124-18, utilise 150 mm standard diameter samples. Recently, 100 mm was investigated applicability use confirmed. However, investigation factors affecting fracture behaviour samples, loading rate, temperature, aggregate size, is still limited. As yet, no comparison performance samples (e.g. toughness, energy, indexes) available nominal maximum size (NMAS) 10 mm or larger. Furthermore, conversion results from two diameters not yet available. For applications parallel with comparisons properties obtained sizes are significant. This study performed fulfil that purpose. Both were prepared three different thicknesses 30, 40 50 mm, using NMAS 10, 14 19 mm. tested at four rates 0.5 mm/min, 1 mm/min, 5 mm/min 10 mm/min, temperatures 25 °C 10 °C. including indexes flexibility index resistance index. showed toughness similar, while energy roughly 21% less than achieved approximately 8% higher those both low correlation. overall result suggested can be used evaluate mixtures up 19 mm, convertible.
